Camp Nai Nai Rules of Conduct

Imagine a place where adults really let go, laugh uncontrollably, sing during meals, and stay up late sharing secrets. Where the only thing you binge on is Arts and Crafts and the sweat earned from Color Wars is enough liquid courage to bust out your favorite moves at the camp dance. That’s Camp Nai Nai Nai and these rules were created to help make that vision a reality:

Adults Only: This is a summer camp for adults (21+). Leave your children and pets at home. Yes, imaginary friends are welcome. We will check IDs to verify age upon arrival to camp.
Closed Campus: For campers who drive themselves to Capital Camps, you’ll be able to park upon arrival. Camp gates will be closed once the weekend officially begins and will remain closed until departure on Sunday. Campers will not be permitted to leave camp during the weekend (unless an emergency arises). Camp is about spending the weekend together in-person creating an amazing, inclusive community.
Leave Time Behind: No need to carry your phone or wear a watch. You’ll get the schedule at camp and enjoy each moment as it is experienced. And no matter where you are, you are always right on time.
Love Thy Neighbor: You don’t have to get along with every single person you meet. But you do have to treat everybody with respect and dignity. At camp, we are creating an inclusive, welcoming environment, so make sure you’re treating others the way you’d want to be treated, cool? K, thanks.
Less W-Talk: Talking about work is boring. Exploring, learning and playing with your camp buddies is way more fun! This is not the place to network or find connections for your J-O-B; camp is for making friends and memories.
No Abuse, Not At All: Camp Nai Nai Nai does not tolerate abuse of any member of the camp community, irrespective of whether such abuse is physical, emotional, verbal or sexual, and irrespective of whether such abuse is carried on by staff against staff, staff against camper, camper against staff, or camper against camper. Camp Nai Nai Nai has the right to remove any person abusing or suspected of abusing someone else at camp and to report such person to the proper authorities for further investigation.
Say No to Illegal Drugs: That’s not how we roll at Camp Nai Nai Nai. So, don’t bring ‘em and don’t use ‘em. Camp and campers are subject to all local and federal laws. If you are caught in possession of or using illegal drugs, you will be removed from camp immediately at your own expense.
Valuables Can Stay Home: Storage space is limited at camp and the only place to keep items you’ve brought to camp are either in your bunk or on your person. Camp Nai Nai Nai is not responsible for any items lost while at camp. So, if you don’t absolutely need your tablet, laptop, jewelry, or other valuable items, don’t bring them – we’d hate to see you lose something expensive or irreplaceable while you’re out and about having the time of your life.
Weapons Are a No-No: Weapons including, but not limited to, knives, guns, fireworks, smoke bombs, explosives or any flammable/hazardous materials are prohibited in camp, prohibited from being carried, and prohibited on camp property at all times. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave immediately who is caught violating or suspected of violating this policy.
You’re Down With O.P.P.: You know it’s not cool to mess with other people’s property (O.P.P.), whether it’s camp’s or another camper’s. Meaning, don’t cause damage to the facility, equipment, materials or other property that does not belong to you. Any camp property willfully damaged or painted/drawn on by a staff member or camper will be replaced and/or repaired at the expense of said person.
